The Peninsula at Woods Edge was established in 1990 and is located within the Houndslake North subdivision in Aiken, SC. The Peninsula consists of 39 homes and includes properties on Woods Edge Court, Laurel Ridge Circle, Walden Pond Court, Peninsula Point, Dumbridge Road and parts of Trail Ridge Road. The neighborhood overlooks the Laurel golf course (one of three at Houndslake Country Club) and is bordered by Hitchcock Woods, one of the largest urban forests in the United States, consisting of 2,100 acres of forestland and 70 miles of sandy trails.
